Like normal, Warthog was up early. He left the room, allowing me to sleep in. I woke up to the sunlight flickering in, the breeze blowing open the curtain. It was extremely therapeutic.

Wonder Woman and Snow Monkey made breakfast – cinnamon rolls and pork roll. We had a lazy morning at the condo. Around noon or early afternoon, Snow Monkey and Warthog left to get our food resupply. They had a two mile walk to get to the store and plan to get a cab back. It was a rough resupply. There wasn’t much available, the store wasn’t organized well, plus it was very expensive. This is something we expect to be the normal from here on out. I hope not, but I expect it. We will have to be creative with our food, something we’ve worked 1,800 miles to perfect.

While they guys ran to resupply, Wonder Woman went to the post office to pick up a package her mom sent. I stayed back to catch up on my journal entries and photo editing.

For dinner, Warthog made burgers, pasta salad, and grilled peaches. Snow Monkey and Wonder Woman made fries with jalapeño cheese. We sat around the dining room table like normal people having a dinner party. It was a nice night.

I spent the rest of the evening catching up my blog and with family. A good, long conversation with my sister was far overdue. This zero gave me the opportunity to see her face and hear her voice at the same time – something I’ve missed greatly.
