It was an entire zero day and yet, it flew by way too fast. The whole thing was basically broken into a few parts. First, we went into town with Snow Monkey and Wonder Woman’s families. We gave them some space and then grabbed BBQ with them when they asked if we’d like to join.
After that, we went back to the hotel. I spent the rest of the day editing photos in hopes of catching up on the blog. We were staying in Momma Wonder’s room, all six of us (including Momma Wonder). Warthog went to the grocery store and got our resupply items while I stayed back to work.
I did get outside in the evening for the better part of an hour while we all lined up on a hill to watch the sunset. The weather was fantastic and the sunset was even more beautiful. Then it was back to the room! I stayed up until about 1a editing. Their dogs, Foster and Ellie, kept me company. Again, I had an entire zero day over too fast. Tomorrow we go back out on the trail.
